Climate activist and education reform advocate Sonam Wangchuk has welcomed the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, calling it a “victory of democracy” and a testament to the power of peaceful public movements.
Reacting to the development, Wangchuk said the resignation was the result of sustained, non-violent protests led by students, youth groups, and civil society.
